Player vs player in Metin2,called PvP for short,is a type of multiplayer interaction between two or more online players in game. a PvP Player is normally weak fighting with mobs,but strong battle players.
It is only available for the player who reaches level 15 at least.There are three ways to fight with other players.If you are good at duels,just start a duel by right-clicking the opponent and selecting the Duel option.This is the most common way of PVP in Metin2 and you can avoid experience points lost when you are dead.The second way is to fight a player from a different kingdom.There's no need for kingdoms to be against with each other.Your experience points can be lost in the case of death.
The last PvP mode is to activate the free option under the game play menu.It allows you to attack and be attacked by other players regardless of kingdom or alignment.Your experience cant be lost unless rank points are lost.If you lose too many rank points,you will gain negative points and the rank will change to cruel.Meanwhile,cruel rank players have a great chance to drop items when they are killed by others.
Fishing in Metin2 (2011-09-28)
Fishing is a practical skill in Metin2.players will get a chance to gain available items,includes Fish bone,Clam,Piece of Stone,White Pearl, Blue Pearl,and Blood Pearl.next we will show you how to sue fish in the game.
Usually you can fish in any riverside in maps,when you arrive at riverside,you can equip your fishing pole and click on the bait to attach it to the pole,then use the Fishing Skill to cast your line.after that, a bobber will appear on the water.there are three different type of bait,Rice Ball,Worm and Minnow. the success rate of catching a fish depends on the bait used.
When the bobber moves,it means that the fish is eating the bait,then just press the fishing skill button to pull your pole out to get the fish.It is also possible to catch many rare and unique items. you need to get the right timing.If you take too long to pull the pole out you may lose everything. Caught fish will automatically be added to your inventory.
Each fishing pole normal has a number indicating how many successful catches you need before you can upgrade it.once you have used your fishing pole enough, you can upgrade it by talking to the Fisherman.but there is a chance that your fishing pole will break while upgrading.

It is funny to raise a horse in Metin2,there are two basic requirements,firstly you need to reach Level 25 of your character,then you need 100K Yang,next step you just need to go to the stable boy and choose 'I want to ride' then he will give you the quest to get a horse medal from the ape dungeon, the dungeon guard is on the second map area of all the empires. Press M to get map up and look for the dungeon guard.
You will have 20 minutes in the dungeon so kill as many apes as possible till one drops a horse medal if your lucky you might get a medal on your first try, but if not you will have to wait one hour before you can re-enter the dungeon.After you get a medal,just go back to the stable boy and click the stable boy to get the savage archer quest.
To improve your horse level,you need go into the dungeon and kill apes to get a horse medal and talk to the stable boy, and he will give you a mission,Usually you just need to run somewhere and back.Your horse call chance starts at 10%,some monsters drop horse taming manuals and as you read those your chances will improve.

It's time to move to Nulla-Valley,when you're at level 30.in the beginning of Nulla-Valley you will meet the 4 monster groups of the map,you can lure up till 4 -5 mobs wich will give a good Exp.or you can go search for a black orcs party, Black orcs are the hardest monsters in the map,they give very great exp and yang if you are in party, you will help the party killing the monsters while the others will be tanking.dont forget to get your armed horse cause its the key in PvM and specially hunting metins.
Chapter Three: Metin2 Quests Guide (2011-08-12)
The quests are the tasks consist of orders of NPCs. If one player fulfils one quest he will get some reward involving items, yang, exp or other things.
There are five ways to receive the quests:
(1) The automatically scroll at the left side of the interface.
(2) The arrow over the NPC plus marking on the mini map.
(3) Players need to come to the NPCs themselves.
(4) Some items themselves contain some quests.
(5) Go to the Horse quest and activated.
The quests can be quite simple or complex. Some quests are available only after reaching a certain level.
According to Metin2 support it's also possible that some Quests don't emerge to every player.
