Fishing requires a basic Fishing skill,which you can learn from fishing trainers,and a fishing pole and lure,which you can buy from a general fishing supplies vendors.Fishing trainers and fishing supply vendors are often in the vicinity of fishing areas.the two best lures are Aquadynamic Fish Attractor and Sharpened Fish Hook.
After that you need to find a deep water to fish.because the water,not sufficiently deep,will be unable to fish.Most water in Azeroth are deep enough,but some minor pools are not.the small ponds in the Valley of Trials in Durotar do not support fishing.but if a fishing trainer is standing nearby,you can be sure the water is deep enough.If you are in a river or a lake,try moving a bit into it to check out whether water is deep enough.
Next you just need to equip the fishing pole,and use Fishing skill to cast the fishing line.then wait patiently for up to 17 seconds until the bobber begin to splash.then click it within 3–4 seconds to draw the fishing line in.you can stand,sit,or even lie down but dont swim in the water while fishing.
